Taekowndo was my first fighting art.  I began studying in 1981 in a place called Highett in Melbourne.  I trained under Trevor Morrison of the Taekwondo Association, who was under Mr. No.  I was also good friends with Tiger Lee from Queensland, we worked together in a night club called "Top of the State", which later become "Images" disco.  I was involved in promotions and Tiger Lee was working security.  This was during my modelling days.  (See actress for more information).

I obtained my first degree black belt with Trevor and later joined the Taekwondo Federation to obtain my second degree.  It was during this time that I took up Wing Chun Kung Fu and became more involved in this art.

When I returned to Queensland in the late 1990's I returned to Taekwondo, after an 11 year absence to train for my third degree.  This training was undertaken with Michael Tan of Tans Taekwondo.
